Getting Started – 1995 to 1999
All Things Music began in 1995 when Mike was asked to DJ a friend’s party. That led to another, and then another. As word spread, the business grew from private parties to weddings and corporate events. By 1999, AllThingsMusic.ca was online, offering services across Southern Ontario.
What started as a hobby quickly became a trusted name in community gatherings. Moreover, our work in Live Event Production Ontario began connecting people through music, technology, and passion. As a result, our commitment to professionalism and sound quality started to define who we are today.
Hands-On Experience – 2000 to 2018
Over two decades, Mike worked as a mobile DJ. He handled more than 350 weddings, school dances, and corporate events. In other words, he lived and breathed live events almost every weekend. Consequently, he gained the ability to read crowds, manage pressure, and adapt to changing conditions.
This experience sharpened his technical skills in sound and lighting. More importantly, it taught him how to build relationships, solve problems, and stay calm under pressure. Therefore, every challenge became an opportunity to improve our process.
As a result, All Things Music evolved to blend creativity with precision. In addition, we learned to adjust quickly to venue limitations, technical issues, and last-minute surprises. For example, we have restructured lighting and sound setups minutes before showtime without missing a beat.
Refining the Craft – Teamwork & Precision
Our early focus on gear, preparation, and teamwork still guides how we approach every project. That is to say, those formative years defined our professional DNA and commitment to excellence. Similarly, they taught us that reliable teamwork produces consistently strong results.
Furthermore, this period helped us build a reputation for adaptability and attention to detail. Because of this, we confidently manage events of any size or complexity. Above all, we strive to ensure each performance runs seamlessly from start to finish.
Expanding Beyond the Booth – 2019 Evolution
In 2019, Mike transitioned from DJing into full-scale live production. He joined a band, learned to perform on stage, and began managing the technical side of live shows. Subsequently, this hands-on performance experience enhanced his understanding of what artists truly need on stage.
After that, he developed a more holistic approach—combining performance, sound, lighting, and show coordination. As a result, his skills expanded into complete live performance production. Consequently, our team can now design and execute events that merge artistry with technical excellence.
In short, this dual perspective sets us apart in Live Event Production Ontario. Likewise, it allows us to create shows that connect with both performers and audiences on a deeper level.
The New Era – Post‑2022 Services
When live events returned in 2022, Mike expanded beyond performing with his own band. Meanwhile, he began offering production services to a broader network of venues, promoters, and clients. Since then, our services have continued to grow rapidly across Ontario.
Today, All Things Music supports small to mid-size events with full-service solutions: PA systems, lighting, digital promotion, graphic design, video editing, and web development. Most importantly, we continue to provide reliable, professional results for every client.
In addition, we continually invest in training, technology, and industry-standard tools to deliver the highest quality service possible. Therefore, every year brings new improvements and innovations to our workflow.
A Reputation Built on Results – Why Clients Trust Us
Backed by real-world experience and trusted industry connections, All Things Music continues to grow steadily. In fact, many of our clients return year after year because of our consistency and dedication. As a result, we’ve built a strong reputation within Ontario’s live event scene.
Every project—whether an outdoor festival or an indoor gala—receives the same attention to detail and level of care. Above all, we believe that doing things right the first time creates lasting trust.
Even so, we remain open to feedback and continuously refine our process. Consequently, our work keeps improving through collaboration and client relationships.
Performance‑Driven Perspective – What Sets Us Apart
At All Things Music, we believe every event deserves personal attention and genuine enthusiasm. We go beyond setting up speakers—we collaborate with you to understand your goals and audience. In the same vein, we aim to create events that leave a lasting impression.
Additionally, we help shape the audience’s experience, from energy to emotion. Our team performs detailed site visits and hands-on technical checks to ensure smooth operation. Likewise, we always prepare contingency plans to handle any on-the-fly adjustments.
Years of performing give us a unique performer’s insight. Because of this, we can anticipate challenges before they arise, ensuring events stay on track. To illustrate, we often adjust during live sets when schedules shift or equipment needs change unexpectedly.
In conclusion, this performer-first mindset makes our event coordination and support services stand out in Ontario’s live event industry.
Client Voices – Feedback That Fuels Us
“Mike and the All Things Music crew were fantastic from start to finish. They handled sound, lighting, and timing with total professionalism while keeping everyone relaxed and having fun. Our community concert ran smoother than ever thanks to their attention to detail and technical know-how.” — Petrolia, Ontario
“I’ve worked with several production companies over the years, but these guys stand apart. They listen, adapt, and always deliver exactly what’s needed — even when last-minute changes pop up.” — Shelburne, Ontario
Why Feedback Matters – Community Impact
In summary, every event we support reminds us why we do this work. For instance, whether it’s a backyard festival, cultural fair, or city-sponsored concert, we bring people together through Live Event Production Ontario. After that, we use every bit of feedback to make the next show even better.
What’s more, feedback from clients and performers motivates us to improve constantly. Therefore, our live event coordination continues to evolve with creativity, professionalism, and passion.
